The Gust. C. Kraras Order of AHEPA Chapter No. 61 donated $2,000 to support a mission trip to Mexico by members of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Reading, PA.
Tony Phyrillas, treasurer of the Gust C. Kraras AHEPA Chapter No 61, presented the check to the Mission Team on Sunday, June 28.
The Mission Team, led by Father Cornelius Grandberry, will spend a week in Tijuana, Mexico, helping to build a house for a needy family.
The team has been raising money for the trip in recent weeks. It is selling authentic Mexican blankets and sponsored a Taco sale during the church’s fellowship hour.
